Devonport Jazz in July

Devonport Jazz is an annual music festival in the City of Devonport on Tasmania’s northwest coast. Featuring artists from interstate as well as Tasmania’s leading jazz musicians, Devonport Jazz is a celebration of all jazz genres – both old and new. Read more here.

MONA – The Red Queen

MONA is the Museum of Old and New Art in Hobart, Tasmania.

The Red Queen exhibition open at MONA in Hobart on 18 June 2013 and will run until 21 April 2014.

 

Family Days at TMAG

TMAG is the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, located in Hobart. It has recently undergone a major refurbishment and relaunch.

Once a month there are family days with activities focused on 3 to 8 year olds. The next family day is Sunday 28 July, from 11am to 3pm. The program for the day can be found here.

Of course, it is well worth visiting TMAG at other times too – with or without children.
