When I have sold my home in Hunter Valley we intend to move somewhere around Launcestion with about 1/2 acre or more of land. I have Domain shortlist but of course many different agents. With limited time available how can I view properties with different agents?

      Hi Judith,

Where you are buying, you are able to schedule with the agent a time to view the property, rather than wait for the open home. Most agents are open to fitting in with your schedule.

In the past, I have managed to schedule many appointments on a day, allowing enough time in between to view and also travel to the next. I suggest working out your shortlist a week before you visit, then draw up an itinerary for the day that suits you and limits the back and forth to different locations. Then contact the agents to set the appointments. You will find email and phone details on the direct websites.

Sometimes you will find the agents are different for some, but the agencies are the same. In that case, just deal with one agent for those and ask them to arrange all viewings you want to see from that agency.

There is however no avoiding the need to deal with several agents and agencies when you are buying.

Also, I would recommend setting up alerts in realestate.com.au. Not all listings get to Domain, but they do get to realestate.

      Jo
