We have recently worked with some clients in Launceston and this was a wonderful opportunity to once again travel north and enjoy the lovely city.
One client was a couple who had recently moved from Brisbane and we helped them find a house to buy in Launceston where the focus was on a few of the inner city suburbs. Another client was an organisation who asked us to show a couple of candidates for a job around Launceston (separately of course!). This orientation was designed to show them Launceston and the surrounding areas so they could get a sense of what it would be like to live there.
Launceston has a population of around 100,000, so it is a regional city. I think it’s biggest plus if that if you want a rural lifestyle you can have it and still be within 15-20 minutes of the city centre if you choose. Of course you can go even further afield if proximity to the city is not as important on a regular basis. Alternatively a city or suburban lifestyle means you are always close to everything in Launceston as it is pretty compact.
